Our Adoptable Pet List

Our Featured Cat ... Lola

Lola w/ED (CCFRCT #1080) Lola 2 years old Female Domestic Short Hair

I am a cuddly little girl who's just shy of two years old.   I was living outside for quite a while before my foster mom found me and took me in.  I don't get along very well with other cats (I never back down from a fight even when I probably should), but love people and even bounce up on my back legs to make it easier for you to pet me.

My foster mom thinks I'm the best mannered cat she's ever met, right from the start she was able to handle me without the slightest problem.  I'm very obedient and a quick learner.  While I love playing my favorite thing to do is curl up on a warm lap and I like nothing better than snuggling up close in a warm bed with my head tucked right up against yours.

Who We Are

We provide a last chance for cats that would otherwise fall through the cracks. Our cats do not meet the criteria for municipal shelters and most other rescue groups. They come to us with severe medical or behavior problems, or simply have the misfortune of being feral in a location where feral cats are not welcome. They get the care they need, whether medical, behavioral, social and/or simply love. And when they are ready, they get a new home - a forever home.

Adopting a friend

We are committed to placing homeless cats and kittens in homes compatible with your and the animal’s needs.
  1. Please complete our Adoption Application form so we may begin the adoption process.
  2. In most cases, the foster parent of the cat/kitten you are interested in will be at the fair to review your application with you, and to ask questions helpful in finding the right pet for you.
  3. The Adoption Committee reviews your application to determine the best match for each animal.
  4. After the adoption fair, you may want to visit the cat/kitten at its foster home. (Note: Caly's Cats Feline Rescue does not do same-day adoptions. Potential adopters need sufficient time after they have met the cat/kitten to decide whether they are truly able to make a commitment which may last 15 or 20 years.)
  5. Within 24 – 48 hours, if a successful match has been made, the cat/kitten will be delivered to your home by a Caly's Cats Feline Rescue volunteer. The adoption is finalized with the signed Adoption Contract and payment of the adoption fee. You will receive an information packet which should answer many of your questions about cat/kitten care. However, we encourage you to contact your Caly's Cats Feline Rescue representative at any time with any concerns you may have.
  6. Afterwards, a volunteer will contact you to make sure that you and the cat/kitten are getting along well. Please feel free to contact Caly's Cats Feline Rescue at any time if you have questions or concerns, or just want to share the latest story about your new cat! We post stories and pictures on the website and would love to include yours!

Visiting

We do not operate a shelter; all of our cats live in foster homes, not cages, where visits may be arranged by appointment. We also hold adoption fairs. Please check back soon to see when our next fair is scheduled.
